Asian Journal of Computer Science and Technology (AJCST) is published by the Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) and follows a Gold Open Access publishing model. This AJCST Revenue Sources Statement explains the journal’s principal sources of publishing support and the safeguards used to keep financial arrangements separate from editorial decisions.

1. Article Processing Charges

AJCST receives article processing charges (APCs) from authors of accepted articles. The current page states an APC of INR 3,000 for authors based in India and USD 50 for authors based outside India, with no manuscript submission fee. APCs are requested only after editorial acceptance following peer review.

Subscription charges may apply to the printed version of AJCST. Electronic journal articles remain available under the journal’s Gold Open Access model without reader subscription or pay-per-view charges. Print access and pricing should be described on the Print Subscription page.

3. Publisher and Organisational Support

Centre for Research and Innovation (CRI) provides editorial administration, production, hosting, archiving, preservation, dissemination and related publishing support for AJCST. The journal states that CRI is a scholarly publishing unit of The Bharath Social and Research Foundation, a non-profit organisation. Publisher support does not determine editorial outcomes.

4. Advertising Revenue

AJCST states that it does not currently publish commercial advertisements and therefore does not currently depend on commercial advertising revenue for editorial or publishing decisions. If this practice changes, the journal should publish or update an advertising policy before advertisements are introduced.

5. Editorial Independence

Revenue considerations are separate from editorial decision-making. APC payment or non-payment, waiver or discount status, print revenue, publisher support, sponsorship, advertising, marketing or other financial factors do not determine initial screening, reviewer selection, peer review, acceptance, rejection, correction or retraction. 6. Fee Transparency

AJCST should display current author-facing charges, applicable waiver or discount rules, refund arrangements and the absence of a submission fee before manuscript submission. Any new author-facing fee or material change to the revenue model should be disclosed before it takes effect.

8. Disclosure of Material Changes

If AJCST introduces a material new revenue source, sponsorship arrangement, advertising model, institutional subsidy or author-facing charge, this statement and any related fee or advertising policy should be updated before the change applies. Editorial decisions must remain independent of those arrangements.
